Verdict:
Okay these are what I call “out of
towners”. We need to tell you readers about
stuff that's outside the Midlands bubble
occasionally. Dirty Saint started out in Auckland
NZ by Manchester born Dave Gale (singer),
Auckland's Tom Garcia (Lead Guitar) and later
with Ste Pearce (bass) and Pete Toner (drums).
The band have spent their time working hard
and playing around venues in the UK, Ireland,
Australia and New Zealand. Now they are
permanently here in the UK and you can
download the song 'Monkey' from their website.
It's a great indie rock n roll tune and I think you'll
agree that they are an incredible band. Imagine
The Rolling Stones but five times younger.

Verdict:
A lethal single by Birmingham band
Hope For Return featuring main members
Simon Riley on guitar and vocals plus Joey
Biggs on drums. This is a hard hitting two piece
with a massive sound. 'Make Love Not Haste' is
a truly fantastic single with a main guitar riff that's
just as gripping as any good Queens Of The
Stone Age lick accompanied by a killer hook
chorus which has a slight sprinkle of The
Smashing Pumpkins in its delivery. The band
have a well made music video for the single
which you can find on YouTube and they are
touring the UK in October so do check them out
live.
