RYAN'S GIG GUIDE August 2016 - page 6

RGG September 2016 - p.6
Since their arrival to the Black Country it’s been difficult not to notice that Left For Red are the cl
new King to dominate and rule the home of heavy metal. They smashed critics with a sledgeham
New Blood Stage in 2015 which was attended by 15,000 people and headlined by White Zombie
gig circuit supporting major acts such as Chimaira, Revoker, Crowbar, Beholder, Evil Scarecrow,
RGG magazine caught up with one of the members of the band for an exclusive.
RGG:
“We remember you hit news headlines
a few years ago when Left For Red became
winners of the Kerrang! Total Nonstop Action
Wrestling competition; would you say that
things have been going very well since?”
Rob Hadley of Left For Red:
“Yes, winning the TNA competition with our
song ‘Kneel Before You Die’ and it being
played all over world was a major moment
for Left For Red. They were looking for a
British band to write and record a new theme
tune for TNA's flagship Saturday night show
TNA iMPACT! for the television channel that
used to be known as Bravo and it was
broadcast in 27 countries. In addition to
having the track played on an episode of
iMPACT! we all had VIP ringside tickets to
the TNA Maximum iMPACT! 2011 UK Tour. Of
all the songs we've written, I think its safe to
say that ‘Kneel Before You Die’ has
performed the best. ‘Kneel Before You Die’ is
a good song because it is heavy but still has
an element of groove and clean vocals which
is unusual for such a heavy track.
2014 opened a new chapter for Left For Red;
we entered the recording studio to work on
