Verdict:
The city of Wolverhampton isn't exactly world
famous for its folk-tinged rock music scene but I believe
UNDER A BANNER are one of the UK's (arguably world's) finest producers of
content heavily inspired by this experimentation and mash up of folk based
alternative music. The hard rock twist they implement is simply incredible and makes
them highly commercial sounding. Musically they're totally different to what I'm about
to suggest but you know how the band MUSE are just badass musicians? Well to
me UAB are like the Celtic-Irish-rock equivalent. Tunes like the manic 'The Network',
the mammoth stomping rock jig starter 'Leaving Here' and the whiskey downing
'Victory Time' are clever, mainly up-tempo, action-packed balls out on display
examples of great songwriting by mixing up and modernising traditional
themes. Your girlfriend will play this to death; you'll drink to it and maybe if you
listen to the lyrics understand life a tad more. Excellent work.

Verdict:
Kidderminster based Industrial metal band
XRAIDX have released a bank of songs onto YouTube with
downloadable links under the name 'MISC album'. This, the band's second album, differs to
the standard album format as the band headed by Xander state that “the MISC album is an
ongoing album”; meaning that they write songs and release them under this one collection
name. This should appeal to fans of FEAR FACTORY and MISERY LOVES CO or anyone
with a fetish for cyber-esque metal as XRAIDX is a mixture of metal, acoustic, synth and FX.
According to the band on the subject of the MISC album “Since mid 2015, it continuously grows
and can only further the diversity of XRaidX's music. It explores cycles of depression, freedom
and reinvention as we progress through our lives. As more tracks are added, more emotions can
be explored
