Verdict:
Whether or not you're a fan of the musicians and
songwriters of the fifties, I can confidently say
that after hearing the self titled debut album
'Harry And The Howlers’, you'll be falling in love
with the nostalgic charm and jive of this powerful
Birmingham band. This is a young, fresh group
of musicians with a strong awareness of exactly
what it takes to forge a classic sound.
Songs such as 'Hell In High Heels', 'Magic 8 Ball'
and 'Devil In A Push Up Bra' are quirky, sexy,
soulful and filled with solid attitude. It's not just a
fluke. This is a very focused team of skilled artists
who love making good music. It can't be ignored,
but this is of course a perfect vehicle for rising
music star Harry Jordan who gives a flawless
performance throughout the album, throwing
hooks like a female King of rock and roll.
Recommended for fans of Amy Winehouse,
Johnny Cash, Elvis and Imelda May; this debut
is rock and roll splendour.

what rock’n’ roll is to a stranger, then
you may as well just say it's Harry
