A SHAMELESS PLUG
I make no apologies for giving a final
bit of space to this years’ Wolvesfest.
Now in its third year, the festival just
gets bigger and better. We hope you
can support this fundraising gig which
not only showcases local talent, but in
the process raises much need funds
for the Rugby club which go toward
improving ground facilities and continued development of the club. These
facilities get used by up to 300 kids on any given Sunday and over the years
the club has coached many young players who have gone on to play for
higher level clubs, and indeed, some have reached International level.
We will have 14 fantastic local acts and one ‘wild card’ entry across two live
stages. Doors open at 3pm for you keen buggers out there with 8 fabulous
local acoustic acts performing on the acoustic bar stage from around
4.30pm with the main marquee live stage kicking off with 7 full bands from
around 6.30pm. The event is unaffected by wet weather (but hopefully it will
be glorious sunshine) as the marquee is fully waterproofed with solid,
carpeted floor and room for 1,000 festival goers inside. If you want to take
advantage of the discounted early bird tickets at £10 against the door price
of £15, then get yer skates on and click onto
where
they are available to buy.
Well who’d have thunk it? A plug for Wolvesfest?
Hopefully we will see you there on Saturday the 17th June?
