Verdict:
After listening to this second single
'There's No Fun' by Stoke On Trent four piece
Exowaves I was left feeling like I'd witnessed
something totally epic, I got exactly the same
sensation when I first heard “You Could Be
Mine” by Gun n' Roses or “D'You Know What I
Mean?” by Oasis. This gritty super charged punk
n roll anthem is full of anarchic distorted bass,
psychedelic fuzzy guitars, megaphone-like
yelled lyrics and drums that can light up a
nuclear power station. They also have a music
video for the single which you can watch on
YouTube. Recommended for fans of Primal
Scream and Jesus And Mary Chain, this is
serious rock and roll played with military
precision. Incredible work

Verdict:
This has been posted to me recently
and, even though it came out over a year ago,
I'm making it EP of the month, this is the
business. A powerful acoustic twosome featuring
the talents of Mick Pritchard and Daz Ryder, one
of the most professional EP's I've received this
year. Birmingham based We Were Demons are
writing and recording music in a digital age and
don't seem at all threatened or bothered by
technology because what they are creating now
sounds like the perfect organic weapon to win
the war against the machines. Basically you
have two amaxing (I know amaxing isn't a word
but it's maximum amazing) songwriting talents
here and if MTV Unplugged still has any
credibility then this pair should be on it. The EP
is available to buy on iTunes, tracks like 'Lovin
it' and 'Billion Dollar Vampires' are masterpieces
and I dare you to not like them. The Five
Flavours Of Feel EP is a welcome blend of rock
acoustic blues wizardry played and sung with
the commitment and soul of a saint.
