: Can you tell us about your current live
projects?
King Rich
:
Playing solo on the road has been
fantastic and a challenge. I'm really pleased to
have started working in an Acoustic duo (Leanne
& King Rich) recently, performing lots of
alternative acoustic covers as well as dropping
in a few tracks from my own back catalogue here
and there. With having spent so much time
gigging alone, it's awesome to share the gig
experience with Leanne, and I have another Duo
in the pipelines for 2018, so times are really
positive.

: What about your albums and how they do;
can you elaborate?
King Rich
:
The King Rich online albums are
being received well. They feature songs I've
written from my own life experience, with very
little focus towards the commercial world, and all
my focus towards doing the songs in my own
way. It's great that people from all over the world
have had a listen to the music I've put out, and
some people have had a real connection from
the various tracks I've released
.

: You've got a large influence in the West
Midlands; what do you think of the area
musically?
King Rich
:
The local music scene at the moment
is in a really vibrant place. In the acoustic duo
I'm in, Leanne & I had gigs back in the Summer
performing a slot at
Cookley Beer Festival
2017
, and in Autumn we appeared at
The Whar
f
in Stourport, as well as Y
e Olde Seven Stars
in
Kidderminster. We've got quite a few dates
coming up before the end of the year, including
a home town gig for the Leanne & King Rich
acoustic duo at Kidderminster's
The Boar's
Head
. So yeah, it's classic to be involved in such
a interesting and progressive music scene
.
