Positive self expression in music is the theme of this months column The fear lies and distraction
provided by mainstreammedia along with the collective actions of morons has meant that many
of us are feeling detached from society It's hard to identify with our world because it's run by
psychopathic control freaks and many of you are still programmed to jump to attention every
time the crisis actors on Television cry wolf So I asked many Midland based bands and singer
songwriters who have written songs about peace encouraging critical thinking or driving a
positive message to talk about their music and offer a more sensible message of hope
