. “Wolves Fest will be our first ever gig in this
part of the UK. However, we have heard some
amazing things about the local music scene.
Names like "The Assist" and "Ed Geater" are
cropping up more and more often; so we are
very excited to see them and of course
everything else the Midlands has to offer”
Q.
One good reason for people to come and
watch you guys perform live?
Q
.
How would you describe your music?
A.
“There are many ways to describe our music
style but these are the two that we use the most;
number one, an infusion of heavy beats mixed
with fuzzy guitars, shaken with raps and
garnished with a dash of white noise. Number
two, electronic rock, rap & roll”
Q
.
What's your opinion on music from the
midlands and the music scene here?
Liverpool based band the Boston Shakers have a unique style of rock and roll but what
you may not be aware of is that the band all hail from France and America.
Formed after six friends with the same passion for music and drinks decided to blend
the musical genres they had been listening to and playing for years with the night-life
atmosphere and environment they were working in as bartenders. Now cemented in the
United Kingdom, the band have begun to invade the English music scene.
They've already supported the likes of Electric Six, Space and We-Are-Z and are heading
towards the Midlands this summer on June 17th to perform at Wolves Fest 2017.
RGG magazine caught up with them recently and asked some quick questions.
