Over the years we’ve seen many mags
come and go in the Birmingham and
Black Country area Some last as long as
months before realising it ain’t quite as
simple as printing a mag and expecting
the world to fall at your knees Here at
RGG we have been supporting live music
and live bands especially for coming
up to years Whilst it’s never nice to
sneer or laugh at other peoples’ bad
fortune I have to admit I did chuckle to
myself when I heard that Bumnotes had stopped producing a printed
version as of last June If you are going to target another
publications’ advertisiers with stories of how you offer more coverage and
a bigger readership then it might be adviseable to back it up by actually
printing a fucking mag every month of the year as RGG has done for
over years! RGG is first and foremost a gig guide (the name kinda gives
it away) and whilst we don’t pretend to be a full on ‘music’ magazine we
do claim to be the longest running and most comprehensive free issue gig
guide in the Birmingham and Black Country area No Bulls were hurt in
the making of RGG this month
