Verdict: Just when you think you’re ready for a light snack ROSE REDD shows up
and stamps on the dinner table This is a real commercial sounding CD without soul selling and done with
plenty of integrity Tracks like ‘Breath in’ and ‘The Healing’ have a real smooth overall mood groove that kind
of reminds me of something early GARBAGE would write Really impressed with this band another female
in the spotlight flying the microphone flag too ROSE REDD should make a lot of headway with this EP release
but I get the distinct impression that this is just a mere warning shot

Verdict: Some band's are experimental but this band just takes the piss It’s unbelievable the amount of
work that goes into a PARALUS song and on this release you have six to enjoy More than just metal; it's
hard to explain but I will attempt to 'Legacy' for example has insanely catchy hard rock riffs which flow into
bizarre spasms of intensive instrumental prog musicianship which then link up to a distinct hook chorus that
leaves you never sure what to expect next that I imagine is how every PARALUS song is crafted and if you
like intelligent tunes with metal overtones then you'll need to own 'The (pt )' as it's terrific

Verdict: This single is the welcome return of Midlands funk pop group CAN
TALOOP ‘Avalanching’ tells the story of one of CANTALOOP's founding members who lost his life to cancer
last year He left a footprint on the people and family he knew and this single is CANTALOOP's own way of
celebrating his memory and his legacy A beautiful music video accompanies this song and can be watched
on YouTube Sam Rogers fits in perfectly and accompanies main man Dannie on vocals to create wonderful
harmony Real thought and care has gone into making this record and they still maintain that inimitable
sound which has made them so popular with fans over the years A great tune indeed

Verdict: West Midland indie pop girlband SUNDAYS CHILD release their single ‘Suitcase’ which is a charm
ing and sensitive radio friendly tune Unlike the majority of young girlbands I’ve encountered SUNDAYS
CHILD take a very serious approach to commercial pop songwriting which really goes in their favour as it
shows off their musical talent in a gigantic way rather than show emphasis on the fact the band consists of
female musicians I would love to hear an entire album by this band to hear their full range as between them
all they really fill a tune with activity and it isn’t cluttered at all just really written well Excellent
