Britain’s most successful traditional folk act Bellowhead are years old this year Not only did they
mark their birthday in April with two of their biggest sold out shows to date Manchester’s Bridgewater
Hall and London’s Royal Albert Hall – they also surprised the audience by announcing that they had
just signed to legendary label Island Records and announced their latest album ‘Revival’ which was
released on rd June and features their powerful and eclectic take on traditional English folksong And
they are delighted to continue their anniversary celebrations with shows this summer and the
announcement of their biggest ever UK tour which kicks off @ The Robin Bilston on August th where
they will be playing tracks from the new album plus all the old favourites
Bellowhead are widely praised for their stunning live shows and often acknowledged as one of the best
live acts the UK has produced in recent years wowing audiences in venues across the UK Europe and
North America and becoming a key fixture on the festival scene In the process they’ve won BBC Radio
