The idea was to bring five of the finest
symphonic rock bands from all over Europe
together in Birmingham to play with equal billing
and equal set times, providing an all day festival
experience for all involved and keeping the
international metal community together.
The first ever Quinphonic festival made its debut
on the 5th of April 2015 at The Roadhouse
Birmingham featuring folk metal and gothic rock
from Spain’s Rose Avalon and Rainover
respectively, Italian melodic metal band
Temperance, the Netherland’s Seventh Sin, and
home-grown talent Control The Storm. The
event and its success laid the groundwork for
the planning of the Quinphonic Festival 2,
coming to fruition on the 26th of March this year
featuring Beneath My Sins, Alwaid and
Wildpath, all from France, and La-Ventura from
the Netherlands.
The Quinphonic Festival returns to The
Roadhouse Birmingham on the 9th of October
in its third incarnation, featuring Winter In Eden,
Symphonic Rock from England, Kingfisher Sky,
Progressive Rock from The Netherlands,
Sorronia, Symphonic / Gothic Metal from
Hungary, Dakesis, Prog / Power Metal from
England and Wedingoth, Progressive Rock /
Metal from France.

Originally an idea between three friends and
supporters of the UK rock scene, The Quinphonic
Festival, a quintuple header of some of the UK and
Europe’s finest female fronted symphonic rock and
metal, has been running strong for a year and a
half.
