PLAYING LIVE AT
WOLVESFEST 2016
REBECCA DOWNES
Normally you get a certain amount of filth and critical thinking from my column, but this
month we're scrapping that and we're going to celebrate the 21st year of this magazine and
what could be more fitting for a gig guide than having a gigantic gig to celebrate?
Wolverhampton is where the magazine is based and that's why on June 11th we have 21
artists playing at an event which this magazine has named WolvesFest 2016. It's being held
at the Wolverhampton Rugby Club in a giant marquee with 2 stages where there will be hot
food, real ales and even luxury bogs. Last year we celebrated 20 years and we ran a similar
event which was very successful and people honestly could not believe how posh the
toilets were. Anyhoooo...here's some of the great music you can look forward to at Wolves
Fest 2016.
