BROAD STREET MUSIC
The Blackpool strip otherwise known as
Broad Street in Birmingham has a new
live venue and with the forced closure
of The Yardbird I think I can safely say it’s
the only venue on Broad Street playing regular
live music O’Neills have got together with Moby Music to host Live
tribute acts every Friday and Saturday in the Upstairs venue The gaffer
Pip has also booked some great FREE ENTRY acoustic acts in the
downstairs bar for Thursday and Friday nights with the infamous Black
Country band The Empty Can playing a residency every Saturday night
Open mic sessions are held on the last Wednesday of the month ( Feb)
and are hosted by Jason Pegg See it doesn’t have to be all mini skirts and
blue WKD does it?
TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT
As announced last month RGG will be holding a
mahoosive party to celebrate years of music news and
naughtiness Provisional date is set for Saturday th June
and as I write we are in the process of securing a
fantastic
capacity venue deep in the heart of the
Midlands We have some great acts lined up

Rebecca Downes
and her band are just two of the confirmed acts playing
on the night There will be acoustic acts inside and out from late afternoon
with a Special Award Ceremony and or headline bands inside from
