I myself would ask a different question
"Why is that former Disney witch allowed to
bloody smoke indoors without getting a fine?"
You didn’t read about her getting arrested for it
afterwards did you? In fact I wouldn't be
surprised if an off duty police officer bought
tickets to see her in concert noticed Miley
smoke crack on stage and thought "You know
what? She's alright she is what with her naked
wrecking ball malarkey but if I see any working
class commit the exact same crime who don't
dress like whores on a building site then I will
arrest them because that's my duty"
That's the main problem with some stories Are
we reading sensationalised storytelling? Is the
media hinting that she is above the law? You
can't do those things Made up drugs or real
ones? All this "Go girl you stick it to the man"
and "What a feminist" nonsense in newspapers
is like giving a medal to a glove puppet just for
having a huge gaping arsehole so a puppeteer
hand can twerk it Basically her puppet like
actions salute control Her being recorded
inhaling drugs during a public and well
televised broadcast (MTV music awards) or
"providing evidence" as the police would
normally call it was a crime
reported differently to the one
that normal people have
previously have been
convicted for
The music scene according to the media sounds
like a load of rubbish as soon as I say it Have you
noticed that newspaper headlines about real
musicians are very rare these days? The normal
procedure for them to get slapped into the pages
of tabloids is by them either doing something
un music related celebrating an anniversary
such as Status Quo's
th hip operation
committing a crime or simply just becoming
dead Many people were crying in the streets
when they read that Tommy Rammone had
died; maybe it was the guilt from them having
worn a Rammones T shirt for years and still not
knowing any songs by the band? One that they'd
bought from a Primark and not a rock concert
Scandals outbursts or bust ups are another way
to make headlines Pop artist Miley Cyrus
frequently gets her desperate antics reported in
print One major example was her decision as an
adult to smoke drugs on stage in front of an
impressionable young teenage audience;
supposedly arming journalists with
moral ammo to ask us mere
peasants how concerned we
should be about her being
a role model for kids?
