HOLLOWSTAR BAND
Hollowstar began life in St Ives, Cambridgeshire
in early 2015 after vocalist/bassist Joe Bonson,
guitarist Phil Haines and drummer Jack Bonson,
having worked together on a previous project,
reunited once more to pursue their love of
music. They sought the talent of experienced
guitarist Tom Collett, who gelled well due to a
shared appreciation for musical influences
including Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry,
Thunder and Slash. Quickly gaining traction
since their debut gig, the four haven’t looked
back since.
Now firmly established as one of the leading
original rock bands in the area, Hollowstar have
had the pleasure of headlining stages at
Cambridge Rock Festival and Strawberry Fair,
whilst also supporting such people as James
Toseland and BBC introducing favourites, The
Wholls. To close out a busy festival season
which saw the lads performing at prestigious
venues and events across the country,
Hollowstar are proud to announce the release
of their debut single – Feel the Burn – available
for download on all expected digital channels.
Currently dividing their time between stage and
studio as they make preparations for the release
of their upcoming album, Hollowstar show no
signs of slowing down. Wind ‘em up and watch
‘em go!
SISTER SHOTGUN
Sister Shotgun are a Rock band based in the
West Midlands UK. They create a furious yet
catchy mixture of hard rock and metal with a
stage show to match.

straightahead,no-nonsense, unreconstructed
vintage hard rock and tightlyconstructed boogie,
with all the trimmings – orgiastic grimaces, dirty
riffing, and lashings of solos. They writhe, they
cavort, they strut - the whole lexicon of early
-70s stage-craft. Meanwhile, lots of bearded
men in the audience nod in appreciation – this
could catch on. “If you don’t dance to this one,
Molly might come and lick your face,” says
guitarist Whitney Petty of frontwoman Molly
Sides. Cue dozens of fans shouting: “Nobody
dance!”
