Verdict:
Cold dark and moody pop; atmospheric electronica movie like sounds of the eighties intertwined
with soft harmonious gaelic style female vocals that's just brilliant! It's a shocking winning formula and if
you're new to three piece girl band GIANA FACTORY then I totally recommend that you hear the entire
track album titled 'Lemon moon' as it defies belief with the complexity of it's pure simplistic genius Admit
tedly I found this tricky to get into to begin with but when I got it I realised just how perfect it is; either listen
start to finish like I did or perhaps start with the title track This is full of life but in the darkest sense of the
word Highlights for me were 'Head up high 'Live at night' 'In between' and 'Right or wrong' or I could just
list every track

Verdict:
The guitar riff on the opening track 'Inside' blasts a hole within seconds of you listening and sets
up the tone of this four track EP from Wolverhampton band IN DENIAL Four top songs that are arguably
all good enough to be singles; vocalist Carl Thomson really shines throughout Tracks like 'Asylum' and 'You'll
know my name' musically sound like they've been forged in the fires of Seattle commercial alternative metal
It's a genuine stronger release than their previous one and reveals that IN DENIAL have taken their sound by
the horns and are now going for the kill Oh and fans of the
film 'The Punisher' will definitely want this
in their collection

Verdict:
Young fiery female solo acoustic artist JESS SILK from the Midlands releases her debut track
EP titled 'Background Noise' and what an entrance! No messing about; opening track 'Is This Poetry' swiftly
and lyrically appears to take a swipe at the artificial content of the mainstream music scene of today heavily
hinting the beauty or natural purity of writing down ones own experiences and having self belief in your own
music as opposed to lining up for a hopeless bland computerised karaoke slaughterhouse TV show record
deal JESS takes gives an immediate impression that she's got a lot more to say Highlight for me is the track
'I'm Okay' which is perhaps the most emotionally provoking and personal song of the EP
Absolutely stunning
